Restricted Area Trek in Nepal

The term Restricted Area is totally closed for trekkers or it can be visited by trekkers only when accompanied by a Government liaison officer. Some of the areas of Nepal are strictly controlled for tourist to protect its nature and beauty, culture, environment and most sensitive lands touching direct with China.

Restricted Area Trek in Nepal Officially now a days none of the trekking trail are Restricted in Nepal. Though there are many remote area trek known as restricted area there can be visited now with special permit issued by Nepal Government.

Trekking those restricted are of Nepal should arranged by Government license holder trekking office. Central government office has not given authority to take permit for individual tourist. Most of these restricted trekking areas must be arranged as a fully equipped organizing trek. All the camping gears like: sleeping tents, mattress, sleeping bag, toilet tent and kitchen equipments as well as the entire food supplier should carry from main city of Nepal. a. To get a group trekking permit an application form with other relevant documents should be submitted through any registered trekking agency of Nepal.
