This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow travelers and kick off your Nepal journey on a memorable note. Enjoy your overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Today, we'll start our day with a delightful breakfast before delving into a guided tour of Kathmandu's rich historical and spiritual landmarks. Our itinerary includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the iconic Durbar Square, the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath), and the impressive Bouddhanath Buddhist shrine, renowned as one of the largest stupas globally.

At noon, we'll gather for a pre-trip discussion where we'll meet our trek leader and fellow team members. Touching Mountain Treks will provide us with a detailed briefing about our upcoming trek, giving us the opportunity to ask any questions and ensuring we're fully prepared for the adventure ahead. We'll spend the night in Kathmandu, ready to kickstart our trekking journey.

Driving Hours: (200km / 125 miles) 6 to 7 hrs

After enjoying breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic journey to Pokhara via a tourist bus, which typically takes around six to seven hours. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers, adding to the picturesque charm of the trip. Pokhara, nestled in a stunning valley beside Phewa Lake, is renowned for its sweeping vistas of the Annapurna ranges, including the majestic Machapuchare to the north, the towering Dhaulagiri to the west, and the impressive Manaslu and Lamjung Himal to the east. This city is a haven for tourists, offering a blend of natural beauty and modern amenities for a truly delightful experience.

Driving Hours: 2 hrs, Trek Distance: 9km / 5.5miles, Highest Altitude: 2100 m / 6,889 ft, Trek Hrs: 3-4 hrs.

In the morning, we'll embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Dhampus, the starting point of our trek. Along the way, we'll pass through charming villages inhabited by Brahmin, Magar, and Gurung communities, offering a glimpse into their rich ethnic heritage. The trail treats us to breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Annapurna peaks, creating a stunning backdrop for our journey. As we trek through lush rhododendron forests, we'll make our way to Pothana and then to Deurali (2100m). Here, you'll be captivated by the sight of towering glaciers adorning the iconic Annapurna South, a spectacle that adds to the grandeur of this Himalayan region.

Trek Distance: 6km / 3.7miles, Highest Altitude: 2600m /8,530ft, Trek Duration: 5 to 6 hrs

We start our journey from Deurali in the early morning, making our way towards Forest Camp. The trail takes us through a lush forest filled with rhododendron, birch, oak, maple, and hemlock trees. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife sightings including leopards, deer, monkeys, and various bird species. We'll rest for the night at Forest Camp, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the forest.

Trek Distance: 8.5km / 5.2miles, Highest Altitude: 3600m / 11,811ft, Trek Duration: 5 to 6  hrs

Today's trek leads us from Forest Camp to High Camp, passing through Low Camp along the way. Although the trails can be steep at times, the stunning vistas make every step worthwhile. Prepare to be mesmerized by panoramic views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), the majestic Annapurna Range, the picturesque Annapurna Base Camp valley, and the enchanting Mardi Himal.

As we trek for several hours, the forest gradually gives way to an open clearing, revealing the majestic face of Annapurna South. The trail then transitions into a mix of scrub forest and expansive meadows. As we ascend, the ridge narrows, offering breathtaking views of deep valleys on either side. To the left, the Modi Khola river valley unfolds, dotted with villages that lead towards the Annapurna Sanctuary. On the right, the Mardi Khola and Seti river valleys stretch into the distance. On clear days, the distant outline of Pokhara Valley adds to the spectacle.

Our journey continues along the narrow ridgeline until we reach High Camp at an elevation of 3900 meters. Here, we rest for the night in a comfortable lodge, surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayan landscape.

Trek Distance: 10km / 6.2miles, Highest Altitude: 4,500m / 14,763ft, Trek Duration: 7 hrs

We start our day early at High Camp to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the majestic Himalayas. Then, we embark on a thrilling climb along a narrow ridge, reaching the stunning Mardi Himal Base Camp situated at 4500 meters.

At Mardi Himal Base Camp, we're treated to panoramic views of Annapurna South bathed in sunlight, with the iconic Fishtail Mountain towering above us. After soaking in the beauty of the base camp, we descend to High Camp for a delicious lunch before continuing our descent to Low Camp, where we'll spend another night surrounded by nature's tranquility.

Trek Time: 4 Hours, Maximum Altitude: 1280m/4200ft

Today's trek will be brief. After enjoying a traditional Nepali breakfast, we'll descend downhill, retracing part of the trail we ascended through the forest. Passing through dense woods and quaint villages, we'll veer off the main trail towards the Modi Khola, a river fed by melting snow. Our destination is Siding Village. Here, we'll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in village life, observing daily activities guided by our knowledgeable guide. Our overnight stay will be in a cozy tea house.

Trek Time: 4 Hours, Maximum Altitude: 850m/2789ft

After our mountain ascent, today's adventure includes a downhill trek to the charming village of Lumiere. Along the way, we'll immerse ourselves in the rural life of the locals, experiencing their warm hospitality until we reach the local bus stand. From Lumre, we'll journey by local transport through picturesque rural villages to Pokhara.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, we'll be greeted with warm hospitality by the hotel staff. After checking in and refreshing ourselves, we'll explore Pokhara city, indulging in activities like massages and exploring the vibrant nightlife according to our preferences. We'll spend the night at our hotel, ready for more adventures ahead.

Time: 6 Hour Drive/ 30 Minute Flight, Maximum Altitude: 1350m / 4430Ft

Today will be a relaxed day for us, with the flexibility to choose between driving or flying back to Kathmandu. Following breakfast, our guide will accompany with you, for the journey to Kathmandu. Along the way, we'll relish the familiar scenic beauty we encountered on our initial drive from Pokhara.

Upon our return to Kathmandu, you will check in hotel. After settling in and freshening up, you'll have free time to explore the vibrant Thamel market at your leisure. you'll spend the night at hotel, enjoying a peaceful end to our trekking adventure.

Today marks the end of your adventure in Nepal. Company representative will accompany you to the International Airport, ensuring a smooth transition based on your flight schedule.
