Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and ensure your smooth transfer to the hotel. After checking in, you'll have time to refresh and relax. Later in the evening, we'll gather for a delightful welcome dinner organized by Touching Mountain Treks, where you can meet fellow travelers and start your journey in Nepal on a memorable note. Enjoy your overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Today, after enjoying breakfast, we embark on a guided tour to explore some of Kathmandu's most historical and spiritual attractions. Among these sites are UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the iconic Durbar Square, the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the renowned 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath), and the impressive Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath, known as one of the largest stupas globally.

At noon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we will have the chance to meet our trek leader and fellow team members. Touching Mountain Treks will provide us with a comprehensive briefing about our upcoming trek, allowing us to ask any questions we may have and ensuring we are well-prepared for our adventure. We will spend the night in Kathmandu, ready to begin our trekking journey.

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, the journey to Syabrubesi commences with a scenic drive northward from Kathmandu. Along the way, travelers are treated to breathtaking vistas of flowing rivers, picturesque terraced fields, quaint villages, and majestic snow-capped mountains.

The route leads through Dhunche, a charming small town, and continues alongside the Trishuli River, offering intermittent views of the towering Ganesh Himal (7,422 m / 24,350 ft). Upon reaching Syabrubesi, there's an opportunity to explore the town and soak in the riverside hot spring, adding a relaxing touch to the journey.

Our journey kicks off from Syabrubesi, tracing the Bhote Kosi and Langtang Rivers amidst lush forests, terraced lands, and quaint villages adorned with bamboo and birch trees. Keep an eye out for elusive wildlife like the red panda along the way. As we progress, the path gently ascends to Rimche at 2,400m (7,874ft), meandering through thick bamboo fields beside the Langtang River. Our trek continues until we reach Lama Hotel, our designated stop for the day.

Trek Distance: 14.8km / 9.1miles, Highest Altitude: 3,430m / 11,255ft, Trek Duration: 6 hrs.

We kickstart our day with an early morning breakfast before embarking on our trek alongside a river, meandering through the lush landscape and gradually ascending through dense forests. If luck is on our side, we may catch glimpses of the majestic snowy peaks ahead. Our journey leads us to Ghoda Tabela (3,030m), where the once-operational Tibetan resettlement project has now made way for an army check post. Here, we'll complete the necessary paperwork before continuing our trek.

As we press on, we'll pass through Chyamki village (3,230m), a quaint settlement adorned with Chortens, water mills, mani walls, and prayer wheels, marking our approach to Langtang Village. The trail is dotted with prayer wheels set in motion by flowing water and colorful prayer flags, leading us to the picturesque Langtang, a bustling community predominantly inhabited by the Tamang people.

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village, a picturesque journey of approximately 6 hours covering a distance of 12km. Experience the gradual increase in altitude as you reach the charming village at 3430m/11253ft.

Today's trek is a gentle and brief journey, filled with picturesque sights. We'll traverse numerous small plateaus, grand mani walls, serene yak pastures, quaint villages, and lush meadows. As we ascend, we take our time to acclimatize, maintaining a steady pace. Along the way, we'll encounter charming water mills, spinning prayer wheels, and ancient sacred rock mounds adorned with inscriptions. These landmarks lead us to the venerable Kyanjin Gompa monastery, nestled at an elevation of 3,830 meters (12,565 feet). Surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, Kyanjin Gompa offers breathtaking panoramas of snow-capped peaks, creating a truly awe-inspiring experience.

Today marks our well-deserved rest day amidst the breathtaking Langtang region, allowing us to acclimate and immerse ourselves in its natural splendor. The Langtang Valley is a treasure trove for adventurers, offering panoramic vistas of the majestic Himalayan ranges and glistening glaciers at higher altitudes.

During this rest day, we'll explore Kyanjin Gompa, where we can witness monks engaged in their spiritual practices. A visit to the cheese factory adds another layer of intrigue to our journey. For those seeking more adventure, a hike to Langshisa Kharka and the vantage point of Tserko Ri (5,450m/17,880ft) awaits. From Tserko Ri, one can marvel at the grandeur of peaks like Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and Langtang II (6,586m), among others, painting an unforgettable tableau of the Himalayas.

Another highlight is Kyanjin Ri (4,773m/15,655ft), offering awe-inspiring views of the Langtang range. As the day transitions into evening, we'll return to the tranquil setting of Kyanjin Gompa to bask in the serenity of the nightfall.

Trek Distance: 21km / 13 miles, Highest Altitude: 3,865m / 12,675ft, Trek Duration:6hrs

Leaving Kyangjin Gompa, we soak in the final breathtaking views of the majestic mountains before beginning our return journey towards Langtang Village. Our first stop for a delicious lunch is Ghoda Tabela, where the army check post will also note our exit. After a relaxed and satisfying meal, we descend through the lush forests of the river valley, eventually reaching Lama Hotel where we will spend the night.

Trek Distance: 11.3km / 7miles, Highest Altitude: 2,470m / 8,103ft, Trek Duration: 5hrs

On the concluding day of our trek, we journey towards Syabrubesi, where we will commence our drive back to Kathmandu. Our route follows the enchanting path along the Langtang River, leading us through the captivating river valley. Descending amidst bamboo groves and birch forests, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramas, crossing the Langtang and Bhote Koshi rivers before arriving at Syabrubesi, concluding our memorable trekking expedition. The following day, we embark on the drive back to Kathmandu, reminiscing about the incredible experiences of our journey.

Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will ensure you're dropped off safely at your hotel.

Today marks the conclusion of our unforgettable adventure in Nepal! A knowledgeable representative from Touching Mountain Treks will accompany us to the airport, ensuring we arrive approximately three hours ahead of our flight schedule. As we journey back home, we'll have ample time to reflect on our experiences and start envisioning our next thrilling escapade in this captivating country of Nepal.
